HD Russell Was Just A Twinkle In His Eye in 2014

David had hopes and dreams of opening HD Russell in 2014 when he was still working with Dayton Boots. Most laughed when he said he was leaving Dayton to start his own company. Perhaps most disappointing was when his close friend threw away a Russell Boots banner he made when he wasn’t able to start his business in 2014 - he asked her to keep this sign and it was another indication of his friends not believing in him.
Through dedication to his craft, perseverance and following his heart, David saw his dreams become reality when HD Russell opened 5 years later in 2019. When you have heart, when you believe in yourself and see the good in people, anything is possible.

We're looking forward to 2023! We've got a few projects we're working on and can't wait to share with you all!
