33 years ago today, on October 2, 1990, our founder, David, made a life-changing decision. He left Iran and immigrated to Canada, driven by a deep desire for a better future for his family, especially his three-year-old daughter (his second child would be born just one month after his arrival to Canada).  David recognized that staying in Iran would subject his daughter to discrimination, gender inequality, and severe limitations on freedom of expression.

Leaving behind his thriving shoe business in Iran, David arrived in Canada as an expert pattern maker. He didn't just adapt; he thrived. David collaborated with leading footwear companies in Ontario and Vancouver, constantly refining his shoemaking skills until he became a full-fledged cordwainer; an artisan dedicated to crafting exquisite footwear by hand.

Our footwear is a reflection of David's journey and our company's values. We proudly offer gender-neutral footwear because every pair is meticulously crafted to fit each individual perfectly.
